Grand Canyon Wedding

My future husband and I are planning a Grand Canyon wedding and I'm looking to see if any other brides out there that have been married at the canyon have any advice for us?

    I really wanted a Grand Canyon wedding. Really wanted it to happen. But, their website says they can only accomodate 85 people which is less than our list, and it actually appears to be a pretty tight squeeze for 85. So if you have a really small guest list, I'd encourage it.
    The one thing that made me nervous regardless of size was that, if you wanted to have a reception there in addition to the ceremony, you'd have to find caterers, rentals, etc that would deliver up there or you'd need to transport it all yourself. I'm also not sure of the electricity situation.
    All in all it looks like it'd be a gorgeous wedding, just a twidge more work :)

    Well thankfully we are both from the mid-west and do not want a large wedding at all. Like max 25 people. Our closest friends and very few family members. We are working out the reception part as with such a small group there is a new hotel outside of the canyon that is willing to cater for us.
    We are just looking for people who have also had weddings at the canyon to see if they have any helpful suggestions.
