...but I have a couple things for sale now that my wedding is over, and I posted them on the Classified board but didn't get any takers. One girl was interested, but never wrote me back.

I'd rather sell them to someone in Phx anyway so that I didn't have to ship them!

I have my blue/silver cardbox (gorgeous) for $50 and 15 small silver easels and one medium silver easel for $25 total. I also have a blue basket that can be used for programs or something like that - $5.

Anyone? I can send pics if you're interested.

    Here's what I have... the blue is a light blue and the easels were used on my tables for the table menu/numbers. The larger one was at the bar and held an 8.5x11 bar menu.

    Is it really not allowed? I think it's sort of dumb if we can't post classifieds for our own towns. It makes it way more complicated if we have to post on the Classified board and figure out how to ship everything. I was just thinking today I will have a bunch of stuff to sell after my wedding...I will be watching your thread to see if it gets deleted/moved! :)

    Mrs. Wright - I used them just for cardstock, but it was a 4" W x 9" H piece and it held them just fine. Tiles might actually work better, because by the end of the night, I think some of my cardstock was sort of falling down.

    They're pretty sturdy, even though they don't look like much!

    Technically it isn't...  because busier boards tend to get overrun with sale posts. Honestly, our board just doesn't have the issues that a lot of others do, because we don't have nearly the volume of activity.  I usually leave them for a week or two, and then move to classifieds.   The idea is that if anyone is looking to buy anything, local or not, they would be on the classifieds board, not looking here.    ALso, if I move a thread (instead of delete) from here, the link to it stays here anyway, so it's not really any different than having the thread here, except that you may get more offers from it being on classifieds.
