Where to shop for wedding dress-Phoenix

Hello all.  I was wondering if anyone had any good recommendations on where to shop for wedding dresses in the Phoenix area.  I would like to keep the dress under $1,000.  So far I have gone to David's Bridal, but I would like to check out some more stores. Thanks! :)

I got my dress at Arizona's Bridal and Formal at Broadway and the 101 in Tempe. They have an amazing selection of dresses for under $1,000. My dress and veil were just over $1,000 together. The sales associate who helped me said that they typically have sales on Saturdays.

I've also heard great things about Uptown Bridal in Chandler. Good Luck!

I ordered my dress through Lillian Lottie in Old Town Scottsdale. They have GREAT customer service, a ton of dresses (and bridesmaids dresses) and have been wonderful to work with so far. My dress was 15% less than I had found it anywhere else and it was well under $1,000. Happy hunting!

I purchased my dress at a sample sale at Mariee in Scottsdale for around $800. Excellent customer service there as well. I've also worked with Lilian Louttie for BM dresses and had a fantastic experience. Good luck!

I have heard the best things about Uptown Bridal, I got my dress at  Priscillas of Boston, but they went under.

I went to 3 shops: Uptown Bridal in Chandler (the nicest shop by far and amazing staff...probably the best selection of gowns too), LaBella Bridal in Mesa (smaller store, better selection than I had anticipated and reasonably priced) and then Lillian Lottie in Scottsdale.  I ended up getting my dress from LL.  The service was great but I have to say, their selection of gowns did not blow me away.  What ''sealed the deal'' was that they had the same dress I tried on at another store and were selling it for $150 less than the other store.

All in all, I would recommend any of the above 3 to at least check out.

I highly recommend Arizonal Bridal Wearhouse in Mesa - no other shop came close to the personal attention.  A fantastic experience, dresses for every budget.

Almond Tree was amazing...they buy their dresses MAINLY from bridal boutiques that go out of business or are getting rid of stock. They do have some gently used ones but they can tell you which ones and you can avoid them if that's not your thing! My dress was $300 and it is gorgeous (of course I would be biased right). Their customer service is awesome. They were willing to let me try on as many dresses as I wanted and even made recommendations, the also did a "dress olympics" when I was dwindling down to the last few...it was seriously a lot of fun. They also sell veils and jewelery that is just gorgeous...I bought a flower to accent my dress for like 20 bucks and they are made by someone in the store.

**One thing is they are going to recommend their alterer but I wouldn't go with her...I have read some not so great reviews on her. I went with Mari from touch of class alterations...but just an FYI that I have not heard too many good things about the Almont Tree Alterations.

Anything else you want to ask, let me know!!

DO NOT go to Once in a Life Tyme Bridal.  HORRIBLE and screwed up my dresses!!!  Make sure that you look at the BBB ratings online before your purchase!  I wish I knew they had an F prior to my purchase!

I got mine at Mariee - not much under $1000 there. I bought my reception dress at Almond tree and HIGHLY recommend it! Most  dresses are unworn but some are consignment.  Awesome selection and great for off the rack last minute!

I second this. I got my dress from Arizona Bridal and although it was definitely over $1K there were quite a few dresses under the thousand dollar limit, as well as over if preferred. Service was phenomenal!

  • If you're a plus size bride, you definitely need to check out Strut Bridal in downtown Phoenix! http://strutbridalsalon.com/
  • I would highly recommend Lillian Lottie in Scottsdale.  They have lots of designer dresses, but the prices of most are below $1000.  Jenny was awesaome and suggested a dress for me that I would not normally have tried on.  It ended up being the dress I picked because it was the most flattering on me.
