Vintage Car/Transportation

Hi everyone,

I am having the most trouble finding a vintage car or classic car to rent for driving away after the reception. I have found limos of all kinds, but just need a car for us to drive away in. Has anyone used a vintage car in their wedding or know of any vendors?

Thanks!

I am renting a 1949 Bentley however, I am getting married in Sedona and I doubt he brings it to Phoenix.  I know their is a place in town you can rent a corvette (I think older vintage ones) Rent a Vet.

What kind of car do you have in mind?  A lot of times you can contact one of the car clubs and they will rent to you.  The owner of the car will drive you.  If you can tell me what kind of car you are thinking about, I might be able to help you as I use to be a part owner of a classic car magazine.  Hope this helps.

Oh wow, you are such a help! I am not super picky on the type of car, I just love the vintage rounded looking cars, like the old bentley, rolls royce (you can tell I know little about cars haha). Any information is great! So far, I only found one place that had a 1940's Rolls Royce and was already reserved that day, a slew of limos and old mustangs.

you may have to have a yahoo. profile name to post.  I would post Bride looking for transportation to venue from church something like that.  Some people will not do this due to insurance issues, however, I think you might have some luck this way.  Have you thought about posting on Craig list?  I know a lot of the guys I work with are on there all the time.  I don't personally know anyone who has any cool old cars (I am not involved with that circle anymore) but just a thought.  Let me know how that goes and if you don't have any success I can check with some of my customers who do the rat rods.  They might know someone.  Hope this helps!

Have you tried going to Scottsdale Pavillions on a Saturday night?  There are lots of cars there.  Maybe asking around there would be helpful?

Great suggestion as that is where a lot of the car clubs hang out.  I forgot about pavillions.
