Table cloths and chair covers cheap???

I need table cloths and chair covers for an october wedding, chocolate brown, nothing fancy...either local or internet. Im willing to buy or rent, whichever is cheaper. Any suggestions? I was thinking about sewing them myself, but the cost of fabric these days makes me wonder if I would really be saving any money by doing it myself......

Re: Table cloths and chair covers cheap???

  • We're getting our linens from Encore Creative - but we're also getting our table decorations there as well, so my bill is a little higher.

But the table linens were $15 each and the chair covers were $4.50 each with the chair tie at $1.50. Colored chair covers might be more, I don't know. We got white.

But they will let you come pick everything up and drop it back off if you don't want to pay their fees for that. So you're pretty much just renting it all for the day.

  • Many of the ladies around the knot use http://www.linentablecloth.com/ to purchase linens. There seems to be a general consensus that it's cheaper to purchase then try to re-sell after your event. But then there is the cost of cleaning them afterwards to factor in. My venue is providing linens. So hopefully someone will share their experience with you about purchasing from the site.

  • I bought my stuff from efavormart.com.
    It was easy, fast, inexpensive.

    However....it isn't great quality linen.
I bought all satin linens - floor length tableclothes, chair sashes, napins and damask runners.
The satin is thin.  But, none of my guests said anything and it turned out wonderful!

My friend used them and loved the products.

  • You could also use chaircoverfactory.com. Same prices as above but you own them, so you can then turn around and sell them! I bought table runners and napkins and figure I can sell them for exactly what I paid for them!

    Still here and still fabulous!

  • Anyone willing to sell theirs from a previous wedding?  What colors do you have? I'd love to re-purchase!  I need at least 70 though, and I'm thinking just chair bows and napkins, maybe table runners...
  • I am renting my chair covers/sashes through my venue @ $5 per chair. I'm all for DIYing, but this is too time-consuming for my schedule.

We went to y knot party rentals. They are cheap and honest. Ask for Pam. She was honest about everything
