Anyone use Toast and Jam?

I was wondering if anyone has used to Toast and Jam. How far is advance did you book them. And what was the cost?

    I'm using them next year in July. Price was 1275 for extra travel time and I booked them in June of this year I believe.

    I am using them for my May wedding.  I booked back in February/March (one of those months).  I don't know how far in advance to book but we absolutely loved Rachel and Kate and didn't want to risk losing them.  I think I also paid $1275.  I think they are my favorite thing about the wedding. ( Well, other than my shoes!!)

    I am using T&J (specifically Sarah K) for my wedding in April.  I booked in September and cost was $1150.  Obviously the wedding hasn't happened yet but Sarah was so nice, had some great ideas for key moment songs, and I'm really looking forward to working with her.

     We are using Dustin and we booked with T & J back this past August for our wedding next October. (We tried getting as many things booked early as possible).  So far Dustin has been great!

    we're using kate and rachel for our October wedding, they were the only DJs we met with, 'cause we got sooooo many positive recommendations from people...

    I used Dustin in my January 09 wedding.  Review in bio - I'd highly recommend him!  I'm sorry, I don't remember the cost but I also know we booked him pretty far in advance.

    We just sent in our contract for Kate and Rachel yesterday!  It was $1275 plus a $37.50 travel fee because we are more than 30 miles from their Wicker Park office.

    Used Leslie, loved her.   Off top of my head I am sure it was either $1000 or $1100.

    What about lighting with T&J? They say they don't do it. Are you guys using someone else for dance lights?

     I think that's something we will be skipping--seems unnecessary to me and sometimes the DJs with the lights and smoke machine seem a little cheesy.   If we do lighting, it would be  an "enhancement" for the room, not the dance floor.

    I used Toast and Jam in Aug 09.  I think we payed around $1100, and I booked almost a year in advance.

    We used Dustin and he was GREAT!!!   We got multiple comments on how great our dj was from guests. 

    We didn't do lights on the dance floor so I can't help there.
