PIP of lighting/decor from Elegant Event Lighting 8/26/11 wedding

Hey everyone,

I hope this picture isn't too big- I have never posted a picture before but I figured a picture of the lighting/decor does it better justice than I could ever do in words...

Wow I love the color of the lighting! What company did you use? You might as well post it or please pm.

I used Elegant Event Lighting... the uplighting was $600 for our room/size.  We added to that the drapery, white dance floor, backdrop fabric behind our table, covering for the stage/lift the table was on (the stage belongs to the venue but it wasn't very "pretty" so we opted to cover it), we also had some lighting/covers to shine on the ceiling drapery.  I did not shop the prices, (I think one of the other DJ's we met with quoted me something like $50 per can for uplighting or something) because I/we knew when we met with them that they were the right company for us.  We just had that vibe that they would make our wedding mean as much to them as it did to us and they definitely delivered on that (that sounds arrogant- I mean they made us feel important and special and not like we were just another wedding on their to-do list).  All and all we had to cut other areas of the budget to make it work and I had to beg the H for the white dance floor but after he saw it in person he said he would do it again in a heartbeat as well and the other sacrifices we made to make it happen were well worth it.

Oh- and the color we chose was amber- Jay from the company recommended it saying it helps everyone look nice in pictures (instead of having a pink/purple/blue tone) and we didn't have a very set color scheme so it worked out well and we just worked with the florist and venue on chair ties to help pull it all together!

I'd love to know how much that was!
