Just wondering if it's customary to invite girlfriends of friends and family members to the shower?

    I only invited the girlfriends/wives of my fiances friends if I am also friends with the girlfriends/wives...that was difficult to word, lol...hope it made sense!!

    We did, but the girlfriends in question were women that I knew personally. In the case of my DH's friends girlfriends, we invited them even if I'd only met them once or twice because DH has lots of very close OOT friends that we just don't see often (he saw them a lot more when he lived out there).
