Florist SW Suburbs

Hi Everyone-I was wondering if someone might be able to suggest a reputable florist in the Oak Lawn-Orland Park area.  If you've used them could you please include an approximate price range too?The flowers are my last piece of vendor planning and I have absolutely no idea who to use. Thanks!

Bella Fiori in Frankfort.  6 bm bouquets, 5 gm bouts, 2 mother bouts, 1 father bout, 2 grandmother bouts, 2 grandfather bouts, one reader bout, 3 godparent bouts my bouquet, throw bouquet, pew decorations, 20-25 centerpieces, delivery and set up- roughly $2000.  Plus the owner is delightful! I've changed my mind several times and she still humors me. :)  hope this helps.

We are using Catherine's Gardens on Cicero Ave in Oak Forrest. They have been so wonderful to work with. We are doing 17 table centerpieces, 6 bouquets and some other random flowers and its less than $800 with delivery and set up.The people there have been great- respond to my emails with in miniutes- gave me a sample bouquet to take home the day I went to look at flowers. In a few weeks we are going to check out a mock up of all the flowers- so I'll know more then how everything looks- but after calling around they were the best price wise and the nicest people to deal with!

My friend used Zuzu's and was very pleased.  I hated my experience with my florist out of Palos.  Info in bio.

I was originally using Bella Fiori in Frankfort but had a big issue with the owner and my contract that I signed in February/March not being the same price in June when I hadn’t made any changed. We are now going with Flower’s by Vacha’s and are much happier. Prices are great and they are very helpful.

I second Bob at Rosemary's Garden in Tinley Park on 171st street. I just booked with him and he is great to work with.  He does sample bouquets so you are able to go and look at your flowers and tell him what you like or dislike.  Also, he can give you a great price. I am getting everything from bouquets, boutinerres, and centerpieces for 1495.  This includes a free toss bouquet and floral arrangement for escort card table.  I have 7 bridesmaids, 8 groomsmen, 2 flower girls, and 3 ring bearers.  Definitely the best price.  My flowers were originally 2000 but with knowing someone I got 15% off and a 5% off early booking fee.If you decide to go with him or want to set up an appointment you can email me and I will give you my first and last name and you can say I recommended you and maybe youll get 15% off too!!!

I used Karen Steen in Lockport.  She was so wonderful and inexpensive.  I had eight bridesmaids and nine groomsmen.  Also flowers for parents, grandparents and 11 centerpieces.  I paid $1800.  I did have nice flowers too, orchids calla lillies and dahlias.  I would google her and set up an appointment.
  • We're very disappointed and wish that we used a different florist for our wedding!

We ordered a memorial vase of roses for each relative (father, grandparents, etc) that have passed. Bob forgot to bring it to the church and left it at the reception instead. This was written into the program so guests were aware that something was missing. We felt terrible because beyond color schemes and flower choices, this vase was really important to us.

Bob was late to deliver the flowers to the church and decorate the pews. This was being done 25 minutes before the 2:30 ceremony while guests were already seated. So embarrassing. His excuse was bad weather and traffic but that's BS because he was supposed to be at the church at 12:30. This was simply poor planning.

Promises of vases, flower combinations and colors were made and Bob did not deliver. Corsages and boutennieres were mislabeled. Even worse, he was rude to the church staff and two of my bridesmaids. He never even apologized or said one word when he saw me or my husband. Best of The Knot? I think not!

    Please don't use this florist!

My sister used him and really liked him. He also gave her a free bouquet of flowers every time she went in for any type of appt related to her wedding...I wish my florist did that! LOL
