Linen Input/Advice

So our wedding colors are Blue and Yellow.Specifically a cornflower/periwinkle blue and soft yellow.I am having a heck of a time figuring out our linens...Originally I thought :I thought white chair covers, yellow sashes, blue table cloth yellow runner, and white napkins. But now I worry that it may be too much color!Any opinions?

yea that might be a bit much...i'd stick with white linens and then maybe do a runner in either yellow or blue.

You could also do the white chair covers, blue ties, blue table cloth, blue napkins and use the yellow to pop as a runner. That would help keep things a little more focused with the color on the table. Keeping the napkins and the tablecloth also helps keep things a bit more toned down.

I saw the pictures in your bio. I like the way the colors look together.  What about: White linens and white chair covers on all talbes and chairs, then do a table where you put the yellow sashes and yellow runner. Then do the same with another table but in blue(blue sashes and runners).  Alternate the yellow and blue 'tables'  throughout the reception site.  IMO I think that using both colors on one table may look too 'busy'.  I'm thinking this may make it look a lil softer.  Just a thought. I'm using burgundy and ivory with gold accents and kinda having the same struggle as far as 'where do I add each color?!'What do you think?

I really like the inspiration pic with the pop of yellow coming through in the centerpieces.  I would try to emulate that:  Blue table clothes and sashes White runners and napkins and then the pop of yellow in the centerpieces.  If you are already planning on doing something else for centerpieces, I would do what the prior post suggested and do each table monochrome blue or yellow tablecloth and sash, white napkin and runner) Then do half the tables yellow and half blue.  I love the look of colored linens, I think it looks more high-end and pulls the look together, where as white table cloths with colored runners and napkins looks a lot less custom.  (not that theres anything wrong with that...its what we are doing but I wish we could afford different linens)

Thank you, you have definitly given me a few alternatives.I really don't want to give up the pretty blue tableclothes, so maybe I can work with my linen ladies to change things up.
