Addressing Save the Dates

Hi! So I wanted my save the dates to be informal, and already ordered magnets with a picture that says "We're getting hitched, save the date of..." etc.

I am learning that you are not supposed to be informal on the addressing, though. Does anyone know how I would address these two things?

1) Three guys living together who will all be allowed to invite dates. Is it:

Mr. John Smith
Mr. Jim Jones
Mr. Jack Johnson
Plus guests
123 Main Street...

2) A married couple where the wife kept her name and added her husbands. I.e. Wilma Smith Flinstone and Fred Flinstone. Is it:

Mrs. Wilma Smith and Mr. Fred Flinstone
123 Main Street...

Thanks for any help!! Dana

I actually addressed my save the dates informally...I just used names and not Mr. & Mrs. I think you can go either way with save the dates, since they are actually less formal than the invitation. For single guests who will be allowed to bring a date....I just addressed the dave the date to that person only. I will be adding "and guest" or significant other's names on the invitations.

For the three guys living together, I'd do one to each with Mr. Hislastname

For ours I just did Mr. & Mrs. and for your second scenario, I'd just do Mr. & Mrs. Flintstone.  For a couple that was living together it went to Mr. Fred Flintstone and Ms. Wilma Herlastname.  For singles, I just sent it to Mr. Whateverlastname.

I wasn't super-formal but I think addressing them this way makes it a little eaiser if you aren't that well acquainted with some people.

I agree that you should one to each of the three guys. As far as the diff. last name I would do it like this:  Mr. fred flintsone & Ms. Wilma Flintsotne-Rubble or just Rubble.  I sent my mine like this:  Mr. & Ms. Fred & Wilma Flitstone.  I know thats not the proper way, but hate how the girls name gets left out.  To be honest with you I think you can do them however you want.  Nobody is going to remember anyway. Have fun!!!!
