Has anyone been to or had their wedding at Cafe la Cave?  Any reviews?Thanks!

    That is my favorite restaurant and I looked into it for my NYE wedding,,,they were booked already for a party. Their food is fantasitc...but I heard from a few friends that share my love for Cafe la Cave that the weddings that they have been to there...the food is less than stellar.   Hope that helps...it is a beautiful place

    i've been to a wedding there and it was nice.  I would have to agree with the other post about some of the food being less than great though.

    My FI and I are getting married at Cafe la Cave in March!  We have been there many times for dinner and just love the place.  We have had nothing but great experiences when we're there.  I personally think that the food is great and the staff is attentive.  We are working with one of their coordinators to help us with the planning. We were initially having our ceremony in a church, since we're both catholic, but after browsing through pictures and seeing what our wedding can look like, we decided to have the ceremony there as well. Plus, we didn't want to deal with the driving around as March weather can still bring snow.  We're having rooms blocked at the hotel that is accross the street so our guests don't have to drive if they don't want to.  This was especially important since most(if not all) of my family lives in the city.  I'll stop now, since I'm starting to sound like I work for them!     This is were I wanted my wedding :( but it was way out of my budget. I just love their food!!! I went for a bridal shower...and the food was exceptional. If I could this would defin be the place to have a wedding!

    I would also check out Rosewood Restaurant around the corner.  We had our reception there and it was nothing less than fantastic.  The food was so good we had people taking it home in doggy bags!

    I've attended a wedding there - the food is definitely a little different than it is when you're a guest at the restaurant but of course it's gorgeous! Maybe it's because they have to plate more than usual at a wedding or something??

    I had my wedding there.  It was fabulous and people are still raving about the food almost a year later.  The food is wonderful, and I am very happy we went with them.
