Wedding dress

My wedding dress is currently in just a regular bag from the dry cleaners (hanging of course) - in my parents closet.  I was wondering what everyone's thoughts/advice was on this - whether you thought it would be OK in this arrangement or whether I should purchase a "special" bag to put in until our May 22 wedding.
Thanks in advance.

Hello, we're also getting married May 22. My dress is in a cloth bag that it came in from the bridal store. I think you want your dress to breath.
I know most girls on here tell you to wrap your dress in a sheet. But I dont think it should be kept in plastic for a long period of time. I dont think 4 months will be a problem though.

Don't bother buying any 'special' bag for it. For 4 months you should be fine, just keep the bag unzipped to let air in. If you really want to get it out of the bag, wrap in a whilte sheet. The idea of not storing a wedding dress in a plastic garment bag applies for long-term storage. You don't want to store it like that for several years.
