Photographer under 1K?

Is there such a fictional person? At least one that I would want to hire for my wedding? Any recommendations, please!

I used H&H Photography - Holly is just starting off, but did a great job! She was $600

Also Joe Scalfaro out of Akron. He starts at $1100

Both prices are editing and full release CD of pics.

Captured Memories is Akron offers a variety of prices. He has been flown around world to do wedding pics. It's only one person that does the actual photography and his wife is his assistant.  His MOST expensive package is 2200 which is very reasonable considering the amount you receive but you can go wayyyy lower. My friend used him for her wedding last year and got a CD of wedding photos, one parent album, a proof album and an 8X10 (I think) all for 1000.

I would just like to say that we are using Captured Memories as well. We are paying $2,000 for a cd of all pictures, a proof album, a large final wedding album, two parents albums, and an 11 by 12. I have my wedding in a couple of weeks, but our e-pics turned out great, so I am excited for our wedding pictures. His turn around time on the epics was also excellent.

We are using Jennifer Morgan Photography. She's out of Columbus but will travel, our wedding is in Cuyahoga Falls. Her most expensive package is 1400, but she has lower packages. Without an engagement session she charges 1100 for all day with the rights included. This is what we are doing, her work looks great & she was recommended by another knottie. Good luck!

Just an FYI...If you're interested in hiring a photographer under $1000, be aware that it's highly likely that they're inexperienced or they have other issues causing them to not charge the average rate in this market (between $2-$3,500). If a photographer is charging significantly less than that, then I'd question their abilities.

We went on Craigslist and found someone wanting to build their portfolio for $500, her pics were great and we are looking forward to working with her. Try craigslist! We have not had any issues contacting her or anything. Hope this helps!

We are using Andrew Smith Photography. He's a friend of a friend and we won a wedding photo contest on Facebook so we're saving a bunch of money. He's great and has reasonable prices.
