Rememberance Section on Program

Hi Ladies. We are currently working on our program and are at the rememberance/memorial section. We are just not sure who to put in there regarding some of our grandparents. Both FI and I did not meet some of them, so we weren't sure if we should put them there. Any suggestions?

When it came to remembrance type things for DH and I (we did memory candles), we only mentioned those people whom we knew.  For instance, DH's grandparents have all passed away, but he never knew any of them and therefore, didn't feel as though he needed to mention them. I, however, just recently started losing grandparents and it was super important to me to include them.  You can do it however you want, but you'll have to draw the line somewhere - sometimes the best way to do this is to just mention those people whom you know and/or were close too.  HTH!

If they were important to you, include them.  You don't have to have a memorial section - it's just for important figures in your lives that you wish could be there with you on your day.

i have a grandparent I had never met, who has passed away before I was born and I did include him, along with all the other grandparents...you may want to do so, especially if you dont want to hurt any feelings of anyone involved?  HTH
