Inexpensive Florist?

I have 7 bridesmaids and 6 groomsmen and am expecting about 200 people.  I'm looking to spend around $2,000 for relatively simple flowers (think clean and modern).  Has anybody worked with that kind of budget before?

We used Kio Kreations and were more than happy with her.  We spent a little bit more than 2,000 for very similar numbers, but had some bigger arrangements.  I am pretty sure she will be able to work with your budget.

Kio gets great reviews on here and is supposed to be real cheap but good work.

I know I got so excited about her and was about to call but she's booked on my date.  :(  Do you think $2,000 is too small for a flower budget?  I'm just at the initial stages of planning.

Gardens & Gatherings. It's located in Wasco (just west of St. Charles) which is a little more rural, hence the cheaper price. I loved my flowers!!  I decided to go rural when I wasn't finding anything in our price range - it worked! 6 BM, 6 GM, my bouquet, FI's bout, dad's bout, 3 corsages, 2 large arrangements, 2 small arrangements, 7 high and 7 low centerpieces for reception = $2700.  Since it sounds like you would be using more simple flowers than I did, I think she can definitely meet your budget.

Check out Millers Florist. Linda, the owner, is based out of Blue Island. She is a great to work with and is very reasonable. I chose to go with her over about 4 other florists I met with. She is extremely talented and works within any budget. http://artmillersflorist.com

We used Gina with GnG designs. She is wonderful to work with and will work with your budget. Since I DIY my own Centerpieces we spent about 1k on bouquets (mine plus 6) and boutinierres (14) and Corsages (readers and moms 5) and alter piece and runner. everything turned out wonderfully.

Tracy Ciganek- Elegant Blooms. I had 8 Bridesmaids, 9 Groomsman, 30 centerpieces, plus other "extras" for all under $2k. She was really great to work with and I got a lot of compliments on my flowers.

JW Floral Design - Julie is the owner and she works out of her home based in Naperville.  I just started planning my wedding and my budget is less than $2,000 (same # of people in my bridal party) and she is giving me several different options based on colors and cost.  Delivery is free within 25 miles of Naperville...otherwise you can negotiate! Her website is adorable.http://www.jwfloraldesign.com/
