Erica Rose Photography v. Lilly Photography

Has anybody worked with either of these photographers?  We've met with both - they have similar price ranges.  I'd love to hear any feedback!

I met with both of these photographers also! While we liked Jiho's style of photography a little better, Erica seemed more flexible with her packages. For example, Jiho doesn't provide you with the digital negatives of the engagement session (while Erica does) and his prints were much more expensive than Erica's ($7.99 vs. $0.50 for a 4x6).  Ultimately, we decided to keep meeting with other photographers to see if we could get the style we wanted within our price range (same as yours) but are keeping Erica Rose in mind. Email me: shadougia(at)gmail(dot)com if you want more information!

We met with both as well and have the same price range as you.  We liked Jiho's style of photography much better as well!! We thought he was a great deal for his prices.  We ultimately decided to go with Jiho because we just felt that he would do the best job of capturing the type of pictures we want.  We have our engagement session in a couple of weeks and i'll let you know how it goes if you are still looking.  Good luck!

I found Jiho very flexible with his packages. We're doing a very small wedding and only need a few hours of coverage. Jiho was willing to customize for us so we were able to select a higher level package for our short time frame. As far as the actual prints, I know he uses pictage. I don't know about Erica Rose (maybe she does her own prints? or could be pricing is just allocated differently), but I'm guessing that he has less flexibility with the print prices since he uses the service that has set fees for him. lmhamze--- I remember you asking about Jiho a few weeks ago. We met with him, loved his pictures and decided to go with him too :)  We're doing the engagement session in a few weeks so I'll post about how it goes!

Hey... I met with both of these photogs. as well, but decided to book Erica for our wedding next summer. I heard about her from a friend (the pictures from their wedding were STUNNING). What it came down to for me was being more comfortable with Erica, I felt like I could relax more with her taking the photos. Also, ask her for references if it would make you more comfortable. I got to email questions to two former brides she worked with and they had only very positive things to say about their experience with her. Hope that helps - let me know if you have any more questions!

We decided to go with Jiho, Lilly Photography, for our wedding.  We just fell in love with his style of photography and his creativeness.  He has a very unique advantage over others, in my opinion.  We already shot our engagement session with Jiho and absolutely love our pictures and how energetic he was to work with.  We have received very positive feedback from family and friends when viewing our proofs.  He really has a passion for what he does and that most definately comes out when working with him.  I interviewed many photographers through this process. My fiance and I were both just thrilled to have met Jiho and unanimously so!  He definately surpassed all others. Good luck!
