He is sooooo down to earth and made our ceremony very personal. The church is beautiful, not too expensive, and very helpful. They explained everything we needed to do before our wedding day and were very helpful. Our ceremony was NOT boring at all...even though we did a full mass ceremony...Father Paul did a great job! Hall: The Cotillion, Palatine-----A They were willing to work with us on our count (we were 12 people short of our guaranteed # and we didn’t have to pay for them). The food was AWESOME! The only reason they didn't get a "+" was because they forgot our antipasto (lunchmeat) on our appetizer buffet...they did everything else we asked but didn't go above and beyond. Florist: Gina at GnG Designs------A+ I was sooooooooooo happy with our flowers! When she dropped them off in the morning I cried when I saw them. My bouquet and the girls’ bouquets were unbelievably gorgeous. They were EXACTLY what I wanted. I was a lil disappointed in the centerpieces. They were a lil small. I expected them to be a lil fuller. I did tell her that I didn't want a lot of greenery so she did have to use a lot of flowers....which is obviously more $$$ then greenery. And her price was significantly lower then any other place I went. So I guess I can't complain....for the price she did what she could. Overall, she was awesome!!!! Very accommodating! I was VERY pleased! Bride's Dress: VIP, Elmhurst------A There was a lil mix up when my dress came in (the wrong dress came in). But that was the fault of the designer (they switched 2 dresses) not the shop. They were very apologetic and fixed it within days. VIP also did my alterations and she did an awesome job! The dress fit like a glove!!! I had no problems at all! And my bustle stayed all night....didn't break. So I was very pleased. Girls Dress: Brides By Demetrios, Schaumburg-----A+ Mandy was the sales associate that helped us and she was great! There were NO problems with the order....and the dresses came in on time and correct sizes. I did express my concerns to Mandy before ordering the dresses (I've heard some bad reviews) and she reassured me that it would be fine. And it was. None of my girls got alterations there so I can't speak for their alterations department.
