Running of the Brides

I went to Columbus last Friday for the Running of the Brides at Filene's Basementwith my future sister-in-law.  We were all a bit weary about going and whether or not we would have success.  We did not go at 8am with the crowd, but showed up around 9:30-10.  There were plenty of dresses in various sizes to choose from.  Obviously, the majority of the dresses were sample sizes 8-12, but there were sizes both bigger and smaller.  My FSIL found her dress for $250.  It is a James Clifford, which is a couture designer that retails usually upwards of $2,000 (my dress was the same designer, but we paid full price).

I would say that it is definitely worth a shot if any of you are considering it.  There is another one slated for August in Cleveland.

I went to the one last october and got mine it is a Rina deMontella the one from catans that i wanted was 3200 and I got mine for 249 and with tax 268 out the door. The dress i got was a 14 with a lace up back I love it. There was also a Pronivias for 699 but it was a size 18 and I would have had some alterations.

The next one in Cleveland August 27 I didnt get there till 11 and was very happy with the amount of selection still left they say that by 9:30 most of the craziness is over just make sure you wear something that is tight fitting that you can either try clothes on over or a bathing suit would work also cause there is only 3 changing rooms so you just try dresses on in the middle of the store.
