Indoor Pictures South/SW Suburbs

Can anyone think of any good places for indoor pictures?  I'm worried it may be raining or too cold on our wedding day to stand around outside. Our ceremony and reception are in Mokena, but we have time to drive half an hour each way.I wasn't thrilled with Grand Central Station in Joliet.  Any other suggestions? Thanks!

What don't you like about the train station?  you don't like the pictures you have seen of other weddings there or are you concerned because it is kind of grungy and there are some transients around?    It depends on what type of pictures you are looking for, but my favorite pictures from our wedding were taken at the train station.  Yes there are some questionable people around, and it is kind of dingy inside, but I am SO SO happy we did our pics there!  Here are is a sample of our pics... the train station ones start with the black and white one on the tracks.http://mthreestudio.squarespace.com/blog/2009/10/7/joliet-wedding-photographer-rialto-square-theater-morgan-jos.html

@morgie - thank you for posting your photos! @megc629 - I too was wondering where I would have photos taken as my reception is also in Mokena (DiNolfo's) and after seeing morgie's photos...I think the decision is MADE! I love all of her photos!!!

Your pictures are amazing!  I went to Union Station today and just didn't see a lot of places for pictures.  Maybe I just don't have the vision (good thing I'm not a photographer). The transients around there don't bother me, I'm used to seeing that everyday downtown.  Maybe because today was the dreariest day and there was no sunlight is why I didn't really see the appeal. But you have changed my mind!

we got kicked out of union station due to homeland security reasons and not allowing professional photography without some kind of contract or permission, but during our engagement shoot so i think you still should call ahead. we were also in chicago so that might have been why.

Thanks guys!  I was also kind of nervous about doing our pics here because it is kind of meh, but I am thrilled with how they came out!  It really is amazing what talent photgraphers have!  I was really confused when she had us doing our dance in the big empty room but those are probably my faves! The bridge is the one by Bicentennial Park on Jefferson street.  We did the pics with the stone wall then walked up to the bridge.  Rho - it's interesting that you guys got kicked out downtown?  I think that in Joliet it's probably OK, and if it's not, there really isn't anyone there to tell you its not...  We were probably in there for 15 -20 minutes max and didn't see a single employee.  I am usually of the it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission camp though so I don't think I would call ahead, and just go ahead and do it.
