my fiancee and i are getting married on march 27th, 2010 but we wont be going on our honeymoon until mid may. orginially we were thinking of just going back to our lives after the wedding but that's sooo BORING and i think a mini-moon would be perfect.the question is...where to go for the mini-moon? any idears?

    That sounds fun! I would want to go somewhere warm.... Vegas? Napa? Florida? Scottsdale?

    right here in good ol' Chicago!We're HMing in March in Napa (booked today! squee!) but we're mini-mooning at the hotel we're getting married at. We're just staying an extra night and going to a nice dinner and just hanging out--maybe a museum. We also took a few extra days off to decompress even after that, so we ease our way back to reality. =)

    I think we will be minimooning too! Our top choice right now is Lake Geneva- tons of romantic b&b's.

    Lake geneva is always a good choice. I was actually just checking out the Kohler Spa/Hotel in Wisconson. About two hours away. They have two different hotels, and one cottage/hotel that is in the same building as the spa giving you access the the rooftop terrace and spa facility. Theres huge hot tubs/showers in your room. Looks really nice, modern and romantic!!http://www.destinationkohler.com/
