Unconventional day time small reception

I have been thinking about changing my reception to a daytime luncheon from 2-4:30pm.  It will still be elegant and nice but should I worry about what the guests and my wedding party think?

I wouldn't worry about it at all, the people that care about you will just be glad to be a part of it. Most of the churches have noon ceremony times (if that's what you need) and I found working with many different restaurants looking for a recpetion site, they gladly welcome it because it's a time of day they wouldn't typically be busy, so they're easier to work with. We already had a late ceremony so I can't make it work, but I think it's a great idea. Earlier means less food and beverage $$$!
