thanks for posting! How much did A L'Amour charge you for alterations? I'm debating going elsewhere for these if it's too high.

Hi dookie - I booked with Andie about 5 months before my wedding.  I was lucky she was available for my date at that point.  She already had a bride booked for the 17th but it turns out her first bride needed her services in the late afternoon and I needed her services early in the morning so it worked out that she was able to add me to her schedule.  I don't think you can go wrong if you go with Andie! Hi mbf - I didn't really price out alterations and get any quotes.  I just went with A'lamour because I bought my dress there.  I paid around $350 and didn't even have any extensive alterations done.  They just took in the waist and bust, shortened the hemline and added a bustle.  I think the price was high but I was already into the process and didn't feel like shopping around for other seamstresses.  So I just went with it, but compared to other seamstresses out there I would guess my alternations were on the high side.
