DIY save the dates.. how to design??

Ok ladies, I need some help! I am not the most computer savy but I want to come up with a way to make inexspensive STDs and invites. I have seen people comment on how they used various printing companies such as Catprint but it seems like you need to submit your own templates with these companes. Any reccomendations on how to make /design my own STD?? I would like one with a photo (vertical) . i tried using various websites that sell photo cards but the cheapest ones I could find was on Shutterfly and it came to around $68 dollars for 100 (with envelopes) and shipping is free. Is that a good deal??? I could use any advice! thanks!

I would try vistaprint. Sign up for their e-mails and you will get great coupons for free stuff too!

Definitely sign up for vistaprint - thats where I got mine done - I am not computer savvy either - but I did my own design through powerpoint :) it was suprisingly easy!

I used publisher for mine and had them printed on magnets for vistaprint.  Publisher has similar tools to powerpoint, but I think it makes sizing things a litle easier.

I made concert tickets using an online program, then printed them on magnetic sheets I found at Kroger (they also have them at Office Max). We bought envelopes and cardstock at Hollo's (for hotel info and such).  With postage, I made these for $0.78 each.
