I'm wearing these:http://ninashoes.com/elke-ls-true-blue-luster-satin--13346I hope the link works.  If it doesn't, they are Nina's Elke shoe, 4 inch heel with a 1/2 inch platform, in the true blue.  I don't think they were a splurge.  I hope to keep them on during the entire reception, though I should prolly come up with a Plan B in case I get tired.:)

I cannot decide if I should get shoes to match my wedding color, or if I should do ivory, to match my dress??? I love the idea of changing it up to be honest with you. lilpsi - LOVE those shoes. Wish I could go with a higher heel but I don't want to be taller than my fiance; he's 6'2" and I'm 5'7"

So, I plan on breaking in my shoes beforehand!

It was the best decision ever as I was dancing all night long (and jumping around) in those.There are pictures of both shoes in my non pro pics (under getting ready and reception)

Once I got them I had to try them on with FI to make sure that I wasn't taller than him in them. Not a problem, thank goodness, because I love the shoes! - Are/Did you splurge on your shoes? I ordered them off of dsw.com, and with free shipping they were $47. I love it! - Do you plan to keep them on during the entire reception? That's the plan. The reviews say that they were able to wear the shoes the entire day, but I think I am going to order a pair of white sandals from Old Navy or JCrew as backups.

Just got them last week!  ;-)- What color shoes are you wearing? Ivory- How high of a heel are you wearing on your wedding day?   1.75"  (had to try them on with FI to make sure I wasn't taller than him)- Are/Did you splurge on your shoes?  Nope!  They were originally $145 on piperlime.com, marked down to $99.  With coupons and discounts I got them for $38!!- Do you plan to keep them on during the entire reception?  So far, that's my plan

- Ivory- I think it is 2.5" heel, and FI and I will be exact same height hopefully, but I cant go any lower, I love heels!- They were $70 so I dont think I splurged- I will definitely wear them all night.

kthame: Thanks!  I just love them too.  I ordered them in white and blue through zappos.com.  I decided to go with the blue since it's a lil unexpected from someone like me.  Zappos has a great return policy so that was a huge help.  I suggest you check them out, also ninashoes.com.  They have plenty of CUTE shoes with a smaller heel and I think I paid about $90 for them.  I'm just about 5 fee tall (and I wear high heels regularly) and my FI is about 6 fee tall so I def needed a heel.  I just hope my feet don't turn against me at the end of the night!  lolHTH!:)

Yes, I found the perfect Cole Haans on sale for $120 and DH told me to go for it.  I had planned to spend about $50-75, but have worn my wedding shoes several times since so it was worth the cost.- Do you plan to keep them on during the entire reception? I kept them on until we walked the 2 blocks to the hotel at the end of the night.  Honestly, I was so excited and busy the whole day that my feet didn't hurt until about 11 pm.

Thanks sgylling and alannaf! I got them last year around this time at ann taylor. I actually had to call around to different locations for my size because they were on clearance. I can't remember the name of the shoe for the life of me though.

Love shoes, bought them first. Gold Satin Nina Vitoria, (my pic link didn't work sorry!) about 3" They are soft satin, rich color, elegant and I love them. I hope they go with the dress I pick out!! If not, oh well, I'll just get another pair Not a splurge, $56. at DSW. I Will change into comfy shoes for dancing!
