SAVE-THE-DATE --- QUESTIONS

Where did you get your Save the Dates? Did they match your invitations? How far out from your wedding did you send them? Did you send them to all guests? If you had a wedding website set up for your guests, did you include that info on the STD or just the invite? Starting the search! Thanks for the input :)

Where did you get your Save the Dates? - I made my own in Photoshop and had them printed by Vistaprint; I ordered 100 and paid about $30. See pic in bio link. Did they match your invitations? - No, they won't match. How far out from your wedding did you send them? - Sent them in June/July (one year in advance) but that's because we have TONS of out of town guests.Did you send them to all guests? - No, just oot guests, and those that we don't speak to all the time. If you had a wedding website set up for your guests, did you include that info on the STD or just the invite? - Yep, it was on the back of our STD.

Where did you get your Save the Dates?   We DIY'ed these.  I think there is a pic in my planning bio.  Did they match your invitations?  Not really.  I didn't know what my invites were going to look like yet.How far out from your wedding did you send them?   About 2 weeks after we got engaged.  So 8 months before the wedding.Did you send them to all guests?   Nope.  Just the people we knew for sure were going to be invited.  Our very close friends, immediate families, aunts and uncles, grandparents, bridal party, parents of our bridal party, and a few other random people.  We didn't really have our guest list set in stone when we sent them out, so we sent them to about 90 of the 280 people we ended up inviting. If you had a wedding website set up for your guests, did you include that info on the STD or just the invite?  We only included it on the STD, not on the invite.

My save the dates were magnets!I got my save the dates from : Magnetstreet.com Yes Magnetstreet has matching everything. save the dates, invitation, thank you cards, RSVP...etc. I sent my as soon as possible which was 7 months beforeYes, I sent my to all the guest I knew I'm inviting. If someone new comes up I'll send them one now even.Yes, my magnents had our website on them. The site doesn't have to be completely done before you order your Save the dates but you need to know the website. The problem I had with my Save the dates was that I wanted the matching invitation so that meant I had to have my color's and theme picked out already. Which was a bit stressful. I wanted my invitations to match the whole color scheme.   Happy researching!

I purchased my STD cards from 123print.com.  They match my invitations and I sent them out six months before the weddings date.  I did send them to all of the guests and I included the wedding website on the card.
