Deep Dish Rehersal Dinner

Anyone do this on location at Giordano's or anywhere? I can't find private room info on their site. Have an estimate of how much it was per person? We are looking at doing something super casual for ours- might even just order it and host the RD on our rooftop deck of our building. Giordano's is my favorite, but if you worked with another Deep Dish fave- let me know!

We did our dd's 1st birthday at Giordano's in Rosemont. I want to say it was about $11-ish pp for pizza, salad, and soda. The room was semi-private. You had to walk through the one part of the restaurant to get to it and there was no door - just a doorway. But it served our purpose. I want to say it probably wouldn't hold more than 50. You'd have to call your particular location and ask. I know Gino's East in Rosemont didn't have a private room - that was my first choice.

Giordano's used to be my favorite, and THEN I tried Bacino's. They have a restaurant in Lincoln Park, and one on Wacker. We're also doing a pizza RD! :)

We did ours at Gino's East, but in the burbs.  I think our package was about $13 pp and included salad, appetizers, non-alcoholic drinks, and both thin crust and deep dish pizzas with unlimited toppings.  A lot of the places seem to typically have rooms for private parties.  It's probably easiest to just call and find out directly from whichever place you're considering.  But I think it was definitely a nice casual, and cost effective rehearsal dinner.  Plus a lot of our guests were from OOT so they don't get deep dish pizza ever, so they appreciated it.

I would suggest emailing and then negotiate from there. If you can find prices cheaper somewhere else your first choice may be able to price match...just a suggestion. I'm not sure what part of Chicagoland you're in but I think the Giordano's in Oakbrook might have a room. What about Uno's or Lou Malnati's? Lou's is my favorite only for their salad.

We had our RD at Lou's in River North on Wells.  The room was private (upstairs from the main restaurant).  I think the package was about $9/pp for pizza and soda.  Lou's was the only one of the big 3 (Lou's, Gino's, Giordano's) in downtown that would rent out a room and they had the cheapest pp cost too.  GL!
