DJs

Does anyone have any suggestions for DJs?  We're having our wedding in Rosemont next year.  I'm really worried about ending up with a cheesy DJ company.  We've met with Music By Design and An Enchanted Evening so far and we liked them both, music by design a little more.  Thanks!

Definitely check out Toast & Jam and Style Matters--they both get good reviews here on the board (and on yelp)

We're using Spin Productions - one of our co-workers used them and had a really great experience (and she's very picky).

I am using Spin Productions – and I’ve been really happy so far.  We looked into An Enchanted Evening and really didn’t like that our DJ would be chosen for us later – we wouldn’t know who we were getting until a couple months before the wedding. I was really nervous about that and Spin Productions had better prices and options.

My sister and a friend used Windy City Mix and so will I.  I have nothing to say but exceptional good things about them.  They are super friendly and helped out my sister from the contract signing all the way up to the actual wedding.  They sord of acted as a FREE wedding planner.  On the day of the wedding they had the banquet manager, the band, and the photographer all on cue as to the process of formalities!  They checked out the banquet hall the day before to make sure things were on the up and up and above all they are very professional and super affordable.  Right now they are running a special for only $550 for the entire event all inclusive - microphones, lights, bubble machines, fog machines, etc.  I would definetly at least give them a call or check out their website.  Let me know how it goes!  Good luck!www.windycitymix.comMilan-

I just met with Windy City Mix and booked them. I was very pleased with our meeting and I have heard excellent reviews from them. So give them a call and set an appointment.
