Finally - hired a DJ - Admit One

I saw them at the Bridal Expo and seemed interesting. We met with them this saturday and was seriously there for 3 hours. They have an awesome presentation and was impressed with their professionalism. What are your opinions?

I would recommend Windy City Mix....My sister used them and so am I.   They have an awesome special now for $550 all inclusive.  Their website is www.windycitymix.com and their number is 773-633-5884   Milan-

Never heard of them. Here are companies that I have heard great things about: Toast and Jam Style Matters They might be a bit more pricey, but worth the money! And they all are regularly mentioned on theknot!

We booked them.  Can't speak for the end product yet, but we were really impressed by them & I think we got a good price.

We are using them for our 12-31-09 wedding. Like you, we loved their presentation too. The only issue we have had with them was when we went to the "Meet the DJ night" many of the dj's were not interested in working our wedding because of the date (you would think that dj's would want to work that day) We were assigned Duffy and we adores him so far. I will post vendor reviews afterward!

We used Admit One DJ's for our wedding on 9-5.  We LOVED our DJ.  However, our Meet the DJ night didn't go that well either.  We were unable to attend our first scheduled meet the dj, so we ended up going like a month before our wedding.  Most of the DJ's were booked and we were disappointed.  This turned out to be a blessing in disguise.  We had the best DJ and I was very pleased.  Greg was our DJ.  He did a great job.  Price is a little high at Admit One, but the service was great.  I highly recommend.  Try and get Greg, if he's not booked.  Good luck!

I also saw Admit One at the bridal expo I did like their presentation but I was still looking for that person who knew the music like I did. So we meet with Windy City Mix this weekend my fiance and I fell in love with the price and DJ was very patient with us and knew exactly what we were looking for. So we hired them for our wedding next year in July.

We used Admit One for our October 2nd wedding and were very happy.  They had great communication the entire time and everyone said the music was great.  Def would recommend Matt from Admit One

Do not use Admit One! I would give them a 0 or negative stars! Their service was one broken promise after another!
We booked them for our wedding after an impressive presentation. This was the last impressive thing about them. Their meet the dj night is a broken system that left us without a dj. We then had to choose from the 5 creepy guys that were still avaliable on our date. We picked a guy based on the owners recommendation. He never got people up and dancing, played songs off our do not play list, and didn't play some of our must play songs.
We complained to the owner and he promised to take care of what he could before the wedding and we never heard from him. He puts on a good presentation but once he has your money turns into an arrogant and unapologetic person.
They have definitely earned their BBB score of F with a lack of customer service and an inferior product. I can't stress this enough...if you want a stress free event DO NOT USE ADMIT ONE!

Please be advised that I am talking about the one in Naperville.

The Naperville location does not have an F in the BBB.

I have heard a few down sided things about Admit One....especially the mix up of djs and last minute unavailability.  We met and decided to go with Windy City Mix....we like them because they are bilingual and have tons of experiences and knowledge of the music business.  We also wanted someone who is able to speak proper and clear spanish/english for introductions.  Their price is AWESOME!  All inclusive with limited hours!  At Windy City Mix, I believe, the person you talk to is the person you get ---  Good luck!
