Tipping for hair/makeup trial?

Hi ladies! I have my hair and make up trial in a few weeks, we are using Tamara Hair & Make up, although I am not working with Tamara (the owner). On the website it says "Gratuity is not required, but graciously accepted". I am planning to tip for the actual wedding day, but should I tip for the trails as well? The trial isn't free so I am paying them close to the same amount for the trial as the actual day of...

    I absolutely would tip for the trial.  The stylist is performing a service.  She may have scheduled extra time for this appointment to allow time to experiment with looks. And, although the stylist is a professional, a good tip for the trial should help on the day of the wedding.
