Helloo!
So, I'm new to the board and very new to wedding planning! I was beyond excited to get engaged to my FI, Eric (as I'm sure all girls are when they first get engaged) on my favorite holiday, July 4th, but then quickly realized the immediate pressure from my family to get the planning started! Anyways, Eric and I decided last night to get married in the suburbs of Chicago after much thought of having it in Northern Michigan. Right now, we're looking at a July 2011 wedding with a rustic elegance theme. I've heard such amazing things about being part of the Knot community from both my sisters who have been avid posters here, then at the Nest and Bump. Looking forward to being part of the community and gaining and giving ideas as this crazy process of planning a wedding gets underway!
