Shores of Turtle Creek

Just came across Turtle Creek for a reception site in Spring Grove.  Does any one know anything about this place?  Prices?

    We looked at them and the grounds are beautiful. However, the woman in charge of it really turned us off. She was not very friendly and nickels & dimes you for everything. To be honest, unless you want to be nicked & dimed, I would not recommend it. If you are looking in the NW burbs I can give you a few other recommendations if you would be interested. HTH!

    I got married there in August.  The venue is absolutely beautiful.  However, the owners are extremely difficult to work with and very unprofessional.  We did not receive our final quote in writing until two days prior to the wedding!  Everything is ala carte, which makes it much more expensive than it's worth.  On our wedding day, we hardly saw the owners.  For the amount of money we paid, they were not much help at all.  If you must book this venue, definitely hire a wedding planner to help you.
