western suburbs - shower location?

hi ladies!

I am starting to look for shower locations with my mom and sister and was wondering if you have any good ideas? We are in Lombard, but can go to DG, Lisle, Woodridge, Naperville, Oakbrook, etc.

I am looking for a place that we can bring in our own food and preferably liquor. Any ideas? I found the DG Golf Course which may be an option.

Thanks!

I went to a toddler's first birthday party at Western Acres golf club - they were allowed to bring their own food and liquor...

Um, I don't think you can bring your own food, but Anyways in Lombard has their complete package, including tax and tip, $15.95 per person.  Liquor is additional.  I just had a wedding shower there, and it was pretty nice.

Depends on how many people you have, but for my bridal luncheon we got the private room at Mon Ami Gabi in Oakbrook mall.  It was so delicious, and a really nice room.

I believe the Naper Settlement lets you bring in your own food and liquor. They have this cute little house on the grounds. A friend of mine had hers there.

Most other places I can think of have their own packages (restaurants and country clubs) - at least in the Naperville area.

    Good luck!

You could try checking out local hotels and renting out their conference rooms?  I've attended a shower at a hotel in Naperville and they allowed the bride to bring in her own food, decorations, etc.  - Sarah
