So my FI wants to wear JORDANS to the wedding.. I have a little over a year to convince him that will not be happening!! He said thats the only thing he wants (lie).. Somebody needs to tell him how crazy that is!

if your wedding is over a year away, then dont stress just yet!  minds change! ALOT!  plus you can always ask his best man for a favor

This might be a good time to learn the art of compromise.  Let it go and see if he keeps bringing it up repeatedly-if he does, then it's obviously *that* important to him.  He's getting married too-never forget that.
Tell them he can wear them to the reception once the cake has been cut, the first dance has been done, etc.  but not to the ceremony, not during your first dance and not during pictures!

Perhaps you could compromise by surprising him with a Jordan grooms cake? LOL

Otherwise, I don't think its really as big of a deal as you are making it...I actually don't think it looks that bad....maybe he can get some 23s like these?
