Valentine's Day

I know it's still a little bit over a month away; but does anyone have an plans or gifts they're excited about?  Will this be your first engaged valentines?  Or first married?  (or like me - other? :O)

H hates Hallmark holidays so I think he is going to make us dinner that night. But the weekend before we are going to use a gift certificate we got to the Drake as a wedding present to stay a night there. Depending on how our budget looks at the end of the month, I may surprise him with a second night.

It's our first married and I have no clue what we are going to do yet!

It is our first married V-day too, but we haven't even talked about it. I hate trying to get a reservation that weekend. . . it is always such a sh!tshow.

it's our first valentine's day that we will be engaged for, but our fifth together. i'm not quite sure what we will do.

Awww; that's so sweet!  (And I apologize, I feel like I <em>always</em> spell your name wrong in my posts!!!)


I've lost track of what Valentines it is together, I think 11?...anyways, we're saving for vacation so we agreed no gifts.  This wknd we made reservations for Cafe Ba Ba Reeba on Valentines night (but partially b/c we have a Lettuce Entertain You gift card; lol).  So besides card's; we plan on spending $0 this Valentines.

ETA: It's our 2nd married Valentines!

<div>That's awesome! It will also be our first married Valentine's; and February 15th is our 10th anniversary of our first date! We probably won't do anything on Valentine's day itself, and we usually do our anniversary dinner a few days later on purpose to avoid crowds. We've had a tradition of going to the Park Grill restaurant on our anniversary the past 4 years so I think we'll continue that. It's one of our favorite places to go but it's definitely a pricey evening, so we reserve it for that special night. </div>
