Spray Tanners: Versa Spa System

For those of you ladies who have been spray tanning either for events or just want a nice color for summer, I would highly recommend upgrading your Mystic Tan or MyMyst to Versa Spa Tanning. Let me first clarify that I am not recommending a booth over a human being spraying you (airbrush). For your wedding day, I would definitely encourage you to spend the extra money and get an airbrush tan.

However, if you just want some color without turning to UV rays, try Versa. I know that Palm Beach Tan (Norridge, Clybourn, Willowbrook, maybe more locations) carries it, ranging from $35-$50 for one session. They do have 2 and 3-packs and a membership option, too. It is more expensive than Mystic Tan; however, the color is INFINITELY more natural. The difference between Mystic and Versa is, first and foremost, the color. Secondly Versa blow dries you after your session; and thirdly, you do have the option to have a moisturizing treatment afterwards. At Palm Beach, it's an extra $10. I don't think it's necessary but if you're really bad about moisturizing, it might be good for you. The blowdry feature is my favorite because the solution is so cold that I freeze in the booth.

You still turn four ways as you do with the MyMyst, but the positions are different. The booth is entirely open so, for those of you who hate the claustrophobia that is possible with the Mystic booths, this will be better for you. You DO NOT have to apply barrier cream before which is wonderful. I noticed that with Mystic, I got particularly orange around my cuticles, no matter how much barrier cream I applied. This does not happen with Versa.

Anyway, just wantd to share this information with you. I use Versa probably three times a week, and it's totally gotten me off the UV tanning. If you wanna check it out, here's the site where you can watch a demo-video: http://tinyurl.com/28hfyto

I agree!! I gave up tanning years ago, and have since been spray tanning.. The versa spa is amazingly better than mystic tan.. LA Tan in Bloomingdale also has it, I go out of my way to go there.. its the next best thing to getting airbrushed!
