Help! Need locations for E pics

I need places to take e pictures and can't think right now. Looking for areas around Crystal Kake, Cary, South Barrington, etc. Thank you in advance. Diamond

    Veterans Acres Park in Crystal Lake, Cuba Marsh in Lake Zurich, Lakewood Forest Preserve in Wauconda, Long Grove, The Arboretum in South Barrington, Promenade Beachfront  or Breezewalk Park in Lake Zurich........what are you looking for in pictures??
  • Thank you! Looking for some formal ones, fun ones, outdoorsy, anything really. Know of any good places geared toward the man. Like an abandoned warehouse or strong structures?

    In Lake Zurich, you can go to the abandoned train station.  There are some older buildings; you can stand on the tracks, too.  To combine whimsy and "guy", you could always go to a Home Depot or Menards and just hit up the lumber yards.  I guess a lot depends on how much time you have with your photographer, too.  There is an art gallery in Harvard - right at the end of the train line -- Starline Gallery.  I think it is an old factory that has been renovated.  From there you could hit the Harvard Cow.  The square in Woodstock might have some interesting backdrops.  I think there is an armory nearby, as well.

    There is a boarded up building off of Old Rand Road, following the tracks behind Lions Park.  It is red and white, with green doors.  I have seen a local photographer take pictures along there several times.  Here is one of the links:
