Videographers

I was wondering if anyone can suggest their videographer? I am looking at hiring someone seprate from our photographer and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions? Thanks in advance!!

I think it depends on your budget - if you want a more "cinematic" approach to documenting your wedding check out Event DV.  They have a list of their top influential wedding film makers.   If you are looking for just documentation of your day, then there are other local choices that won't break your bank.  I would say the more cinematic, the more costly it will be.

I personally recommend my cinematographers StillMotion - they shoot intl but heard that they have on their future calendar another Chicago wedding.  For my daughter's first birthday party I had Pogi video  -  I have not seen their final product but they seem to be very reasonable and judging by the samples they seem pretty good - they are still in school.  Other highly recommended vendors I have read on this board include:  Delack Media, Orange Films, Carbon 14.

Ben Mahoney Productions is really awesome, I have friends who've used his service, and I've looked at example videos on their website and they are amazing!
