Tailor for dresses- Chicago

Looking for a good tailor in Chicago for near subarbs to tailor a bridesmaides dress. OR a wedding dress. 

I do NOT want to pay an arm and a leg.

Any suggestions

    I recommend Cori of Stitch of Bliss. While she is a bit difficult to get ahold of, she does a great job and is very affordable. She also comes to wherever your dress is and will drop it off back to you. It only took one fitting and when she brought it back it fit perfectly!

    She did the following to my dress:
    -changed it from straps to sweetheart
    -added cups and boning
    -hemmed, pressed

    I booked Mary Catomy. Her info is on yelp along with a lot of reviews. Since she hasn't done my alterations yet, I can't personally tell you about my experience or the cost, but I couldn't find a single negative review. She is located in Schiller Park. FYI she is closed Thanksgiving-New Years

    Angelica at La Modista is great. It's located on Clybourn just north of Fullerton.
