Boudoir photography

Has anyone ever had a boudoir photo session? If so, can you share your experience and tell me who you used? I am considering having some photos taken and giving them to my fiance either the night before the wedding or on the wedding night.

I had SO MUCH FUN doing my boudoir session.  The pampering was awesome, and then to have my hair and make up done was a blast.  I was nervous that morning, but by the time we got around to the photo shoot I had completely forgotten how nervous I was and just had a great time.

A did a "spa day" session with a friend using Allison Mayer Photography ( allisonmayer.com ), she has other less involved options.  But she even went shopping with me since I didn't know what to wear.

You have to contact her about Boudoir, her site is only accessible by password.  I love that, because I know there are no pictures of me out there for random people to run across.

DO IT, its so much fun!

I had my session with Laurie Peacock - highly recommend.  She made me feel very comfortable and was very bubbly.  The final product was great!

I had a session with Danielle Aquiline at Trump Towers.  She also had Sonia Roselli's girls come in to do hair and makeup.  I was super nervous about it, but she made you feel so comfortable.  It was a lot of fun to do and afterwards, you feel so confident and sexy.  lol.  She did an excellent job and my husband loved my pictures

Dang it! I would love to do this but don't think a month is enough time for my to get "back in shape".  Haha, I was hardcore before the wedding and now have really slacked off.
(I'd like to get some done for our 1yr anniversary)

My wedding was June 2, 2012. I should have known something was up when I couldn't get ahold of her 3 weeks before the wedding. She did show up, took some amazing pictures, and put teasers on Facebook and they look great. Unfortunately, that was pretty much the last I got from her. She was supposed to have a disc of pictures to us by June 30. I have nothing. She does not respond to calls or email. I finally went to her home where she lives with her parents. She was not home, so her poor parents were forced to offer apologies and excuses for their dishonest and irresponsible daughter. I felt bad for them. I will be initiating legal action this week, but am not horeful. Wedding pictures are irreplaceable and no amount of money will ever make up for losing them. DO NOT HIRE ALLISON MAYER. If you do, certainly don't pay her in full before the event like I did. I am such a sucker.
