NWR: Your favorite restaurant

I'm planning on meeting up with some college friends soon, and I was trying to think of some new places to try out.

What are your favorite places?  It doesn't matter if it's city or burbs...

Quartino's is always fun with a group of people (who are not worried about sharing dishes).

Angels and Mariachi's is a fun Mexican restaurant (and my friends tell me the margaritas are fantastic).

Elephant and Castle is a good pub with surprisingly tasty food and easily accessible.

Big Bowl usually has a fun atmosphere with tasty drinks, as long as you don't mind a chain restaurant.

Can't go wrong with Cheesecake Factory either.

My current favorite is a little Indian place out in Bloomingdale but it is fantastic!

(Wow, clearly my Chef Boyardee just isn't cuttin' it for lunch. :) )

Umm hello Ginos East for pizza ladies! Or Giordanos if you are stuck in the suburbs is a close second!

Love Quartino's or Ba Ba Reeba for girls nights.  My girlfriends and I are also big into BYOB places...some of our faves: Indie Cafe (Thai/sushi - but the Thai is much better IMO), Tango Sur (Argentinian steakhouse), Sabor a Cuba (Cuban), Mixtico Grill (upscale Mexican) and Hema's Kitchen (Indian).

If you're looking for something different, there's a really good Turkish place in Roscoe Village called Turquoise that I love.

Wow - apparently I spend a lot of time going going to dinner!

Ditto Quartino's. I love going there with a group and trying a bunch of different dishes and wines. Cafe Ibericho is awesome for that as well!

Also love love love Carnivale and Zocalo for latin food

Sushi Samba is fun, especially if you get the group serving tapas style, but a little pricey

Kuma's Corner is great for amazing burgers, just go early and expect to wait for a while. I'm also obsessed with Smoque's BBQ (and it's BYOB).

Lux Bar is good. My fave restaurant though is Opart Thai just off the Brown Line Western Stop right outside of Lincoln Square.  Always busy.  Really good and not too pricey!

I love Opart Thai! Also, ugh, FI is going to Kumas tonight but I'm skipping out because of the wedding diet. It's really unfair.

If you like seafood, I highly recommend Glenn's Diner near Montrose and Ravenswood. They are also BYOB and the seafood is to die for! Make reservations or you'll have to wait.

Frontera Grill, Publican, the Parthenon, Tuscany (Taylor Street), Francesca's, Sapori Trattoria...ohhh glanced up and totally agree with Kuma's, Sushi Sumba, Carnivale, and Tango Sur!

Mercadito if you love Mexican.  Their drinks are fantastic also.

The Publican - if you like pork, oysters and good beer.

Gioco - South Loop.  Great Italian.

Mercat - Best tapas in the city. Little pricey but worth it.
Me: 35/Hubs: 35 - just moved to Minneapolis from Chicago. TTC for 18 months and expecting baby #1 April 18, 2012! Needed IVF after a few failed rounds of IUI and it worked!
