Polish Reception Venues in Chicago Suburbs

Can anyone recommend an ideal polish reception venue in the Chicago Suburbs? My fiance is Polish and it is tradition to have a bottle of vodka on each table but we are having trouble finding a place that will allow it. Ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hm, I don't know a place specifically that does it. Maybe they aren't strictly Polish (who knows, but my Polish parents like them a lot), but did you ask at Dinolfo's in Homer Glen or Mokena?

A friend on mine had their reception at Crystal Grand Banquets in Lemont. The location is a little out of the way but it was good food and a nice setting (and yes there was vodka on the table).
  • Try Janosik banquets in Hickory Hills. We went to a reception there last summer whose attendance was 90% Polish. Vodka on every table, and the favors were mini-bottles. Food was ok, decor is very rustic with sort of a log cabin theme and some taxidermy around, hehe.
  • I have been to many Polish weddings. The White Eagle Restaurant and Banquets would be perfect. It is very, very Polish, down to traditional Polish paintings on the walls outside the rooms. I am sure they'll let you put the bottles of vodka on the table. While it's in "Chicago," it is really on the border with Niles. Also try Chateau Ritz on Milwaukee Avenue in Niles.
  • Janosik in hickeoy hills on Roberts Rd is Polish. Its a very nice place.
  • I posted in the other one.

I am not Polish but I did get married at a banquet hall in Palos Hills that is Polish, it's the Belvedere Chateau. It is located on 103rd right off of Roberts Road. The food was absolutely fantastic and the venue is beautiful! Everyone who works there are so friendly and helpful. I know they will let you have bottles of vodka on the tabels. I had all my guests telling me that the food was phenomenal!
  • I second Crystal Grand Banquets. Went to a Polish wedding there a few years ago and it was really nice. Vodka on every table (plus shot glasses and chasers!), good food (including a roasted pig at midnight), Polish DJ who played a mix of American and Polish music, and they stayed open until 2 a.m. One of the most fun weddings I've been to!
  • A friend is having her wedding at Alpine Banquets in Darien.

Another friend got married at Cave la Cave and I believe they had it at each table as well
