Rehersal Dinner Ideas

Hey everyone,

We are currently in the process of nailing down a rehersal dinner location. As you know, this is not easy with the thousands of restaurants in Chicago. We will have 28 guests for the dinner and would really like to keep it under $2000.

Any ideas?

Where [in general] is your rehearsal taking place so that we can suggest restaurants in the area?

We had ours at Gino's East on Wells. Highly recommend if you are looking for something more casual.

Our rehersal is being held at Salvatore's Ristorante, in Lincoln Park (Clark and Arlington, basically).

The only thing we have to steer clear of is Italian food because that is what will be served at the reception.

How about doing tapas at Cafe BaBa ReBa?

Ours is at Rock Bottom in the private party room. I'm not sure of the exact price per person once you figure in the alcohol (instead of having an alcohol package, we're just letting people order what they want) but we're having around 35 people and it will be under $2000.

We had ours at Pompeii in Oak Brook Terrace, 25 people for $500.00
It was beautiful and declicious highly recommend!
