My daughter had her reception at The Arboretum Club this past June.  Chris and Mike are FANTASTIC to work with, are quick and clear with communications, and work quickly and effortlessly.

On the day of the wedding, a Bat Mitzvah ended at 4 and our reception was to begin at 5:30 (with the potential for a few guests to straggle in a little early).  I was very concerned that our guests would arrive and see an "unfinished" look, or a work in progress, as we had lighting, draping, and ceiling swag being installed in both the foyer and dinner room.  (If you are in Chris's office and notice a very large picture hanging on the wall opposite her desk, it is from our reception :-)  )  Absolutely EVERYTHING was in place by the time the first guest arrived.

They were very flexible in allowing us to bring all our decor in on Friday.  We had lots of items, and a somewhat complicated escort table.  We also had a photobooth.  With a few exceptions, we left the "decorating" to the discretion of Mike and his staff.  The escort table, gift table, cake table, cocktail area, photobooth area and props (we brought our own) were all done beautifully!! (I would absolutely recommend you pay the additional $200 to have the staff take care of everying for you--it is BEYOND worth the money!!)

The cocktail hour food was delicious! Being able to utilize the patio was a definite bonus on a summer night.  We brought centerpieces from the rehearsal dinner over and they used them to decorate the patio.  The food was served hot.  The guests all raved about the food. (We had filet mignon as one entree and I will warn you that unless you are specific, it was served a tad on the rare side for some guests.)  We had special dietary considerations including 2 gluten free meals, and they were effortlessly accommodated and neither had any repercussions from their meals (they have attended other events at other places and did have ill effects from what they were told was gluten free.)

The next morning when we went to retrieve our decor and other belongings, absolutely everything was packed, boxed, and placed on a dolly for us to easily roll out to the cars.  We had a late night dessert bar and all leftovers had been boxed and bagged as well.  I cannot say enough good things about their staff and the way our wedding was handled!

Our guests stayed at The Hampton Suites and their shuttle service was very accommodating as well.

I have some other (good) specifics I would prefer to add privately.  Please feel free to PM me if you book with this venue.

I just went to a wedding at the Arboretum Club last weekend and it was very nice. The food was excellent and they were very organized.

I had my first wedding reception at the Itasca Country Club. It was really great. They include so much and the pricing is incredibly reasonable. I had no problems with them whatsoever and the night went so smoothly.
