Downtown Rehearsal Dinner Ideas

I'm looking for rehearsal dinner ideas that are downtown.  Our guests are staying at either the Elysian or Spring Hill Suites.  There will be 15 of us, and I'd like to find a place where we have our own private room, and have appetizers, dinner menu (family style, order from menu, or pick from a few entrees).  The only idea we have come up with is Maggiano's, and it will be $800 for 15 of us...but was curious of any other options to compare?

Any thoughts are much appreciated!  Afterwards we'll invite friends and out of town guests out for drinks nearby too.

With such a small group it might be a little harder since some places might have a minimum. But some places do have smaller rooms. Wildfire, DOC Winebar (where we had our RD), Club Lucky, Adobo Grill, Gibsons all have private rooms I have been to. Club Lucky has a smaller room. I am pretty sure Sunda has a private room that is smaller.

Here is a list of places on Open Table that have rooms

There are a ton of great places downtown.

Thank you Steph!  I'd like to stick downtown so will check it out.  Maggiano's may be the way to go because our room is charming and there will be an appetizer spread and our own private bar and for the family style dinner we will all be at one table.  But I'll check open table too!

we're doing Gino's on Superior - they have a smaller room, that holds maximum 30 people...

Some of our close friends had their RD at Maggiano's downtown and it was great.  The room is fantastic, totally removed from the regular dining crowd, and the private bar is a big plus.  I can't say how it compares to other restaurants in terms of function pricing, but it was a great dinner.

We had ours at Ben Pao, which was very convenient for folks staying at SpringHill Suites.  We had a private room, but not private bar (but wait staff took care of us for drinks.)  I think prices are about the same as Maggiano's.

    Good luck!

Try Carnivale- It's fun, bright, and has private rooms. The food is great and your guests will love it if they've never been there.  It's right off of the expressway-

I'm having my RD at Spiaggia.  I forget if there is a min, but I think there is.
