Planning from out of town - Chicago Mart Plaza - Lasalle Room

Has anyone had a wedding in this room? As I was browsing through the boards I saw this hotel in a few posts and would like to hear some feedback as to what the room looked like? If you can provide pictures that would be GREAT and much appreciated!

FI and I want a small wedding, there seems to be more pictures on the site of the Wolfe Room (which I actually like). However, the Lasalle room only has one picture (at least that I've been able to find).

Any advice on hotel, service, room, etc. would be helpful.

    We had our wedding there and it was wonderful!  I posted some vendor reviews the other day that has information on our experience.  We had about 100 people at our wedding and the room was well-suited for this, and it was beautiful!  I'll try to share a link to pictures.

    We have the Chicago Mart Plaza booked as one of the hotels where our guests can stay.  My finace and I stayed there a few months ago so we could check it out for ourselves and the hotel itself is very nice.  The bar area is great with wonderful views!  The hotel rooms themselves are fine- typical Holiday Inn rooms- clean but nothing special (which is fine since you're hopfully not spending all that much time in there).  My only complaint was that the pillows were rock hard! 

    I'm sorry I don't have any info re the LaSalle room, but I hope this helped!

    I have an appointment to view the room on Saturday and so can let you know what we think.  I am also interested in more pictures than I can find from the website and any other advice anyone who has had a wedding there has!

    Imarybroussard: Your reviews were VERY helpful and similar to you I tend to do most of the post/thread watching vs proactively posting. I would love for you to share your photo link (if you feel comfortable) in order to have a better idea of the room.

    Carrieoneill: PLEASE share your thoughts as well after you view it on Saturday.

    I'm interested to know if the dancefloor is in the middle of the room? Are the floor to ceiling windows in the picture the only side with a view?
