Invitations 95% Done!!!

Hi Ladies,

So, I'm 99.9% confident in my invitation mock-ups! I have them here:


I created these using Photoshop (a fun task), and I still need to do the Directions/Map insert, but I think I'm done!!! Yippee!!!

I think they look great - you did a fantastic job! 
Just FYI: I read somewhere that the "and" in "two thousand and ten" is grammatically incorrect, as it represents a decimal point...??  Of course, I read this after ours were printed, but perhaps I can save you from making the same mistake I did!

They look fantastic! I'm so jealous. I still have yet to order my samples and do the mock ups. I'm being a procrastinator now. I'm glad that yours turned out so well. It gives me confidence that I can do this too.

Love them! The script font matches perfectly with the flourish. What colors and such are you doing for the pocketfold, bellyband, etc.?

I'm not 100% sure of that yet; I ordered the sample packet from Cards & Pockets with pocket folds in Tiffany Blue (Metallic); the invitations and all in Cream (smooth). I'm not sure how it's going to look so I want to play first.  

I'm not sure about a belly band yet. I want to close them off somehow, but can't figure out how yet. I can't decide if I should print on white cardstock or the cream. I'm not wearing white..I'm wearing Ivory...not sure if that matters?

Your mockups are so lovely!  If you are as much into paper products as I am, then you will love your invitations forever because you personally designed them.  I still gawk at mine and get a happy feeling!

Don't know if you have chosen your store/e-commerce company to provide you with your cardstock/paper but consider Paper and More - I ordered a sampler and they were really reasonably priced plus they only charge $3.99 flat shipping and do custom cutting for you. 

I still have to do my programs still and have my stash of vellum and shiny cardstock from them!  Have fun experimenting with your mockups!

Love the fonts -- what is the cursive one you used?  My only question is, should it be "Declines with Regret" -- not plural?  It just sounded funny.  

The flourish is beautiful!  I totally tried to do my own back in the day but was never happy with them and ended up ordering them.  Yours look great!

Meghaks - that's an excellent point about the "regrets"; I showed my FI but he was more or less "it looks great" and didn't really look at the details of the text, thus my posting here! You're absolutely right! Thanks again!!

Hi Kate, I know I am late to this post but congrats! they look great! I love them. I am using just a square to close mine, no belly band. An idea for you. Also I dont think your whites need to match from your dress if you are worried about that. Very pretty!
