Shower thank you notes

We open the gifts, but technically they're also for our fiance's, right? Did you sign your shower thank you notes from both you and your fiance? Or just yourself?

Sorry if this is a ridiculous question. I just really have no idea...

I am planning on signing from both of us since the gift will be for the two of us as a pair.

I always thought (and read somewhere) that shower thank you notes were only supposed to be signed by the bride. So, that's what I did, even though he helped me open and they are definitely for the two of us.

I wrote all of the notes and forged his signature. It was just easier like that. I think that since he's going to use the items too, he needs to say thank you.

I wrote all the notes and signed and then had him sign them as well. But we had a wedding shower where he was there as well so that may be a little different..,

I only signed mine for my family shower...but this weekend we are having a couples shower at his parents house so I will sign both our names.
