I don't, but do have a thought to relay about mineral make up.  If this is for your/someone else's wedding at which you'll be standing up, mineral make up sometimes doesn't photograph well.  For as nice as the feel and finish is in person, the minerals themselves have an odd way of reflecting light that can sometimes give a slightly pallid, almost ghoulish glow.  My photographer admvised me to ask my girls not to wear mineral makeup because of the extra retouching work it often requires.  I of course had no idea this could be a problem.

I personally really like bare minerals, but would touch base with the photog before using it at an event where I was likely to be photographed.  Others have used it without problems-- just something to consider.

I wear BE on a daily basis but my wedding makeup artist advised against it for my wedding day I think for the same reason as the PP.

I've heard this too, but I asked my photog and he said it didn't matter. I wore it for my engagement pictures and it looks totally fine. I had a makeup artist for my wedding, so I didn't use mineral makeup and they both look good to me.

So, I guess I don't really know if it is true or not, but it didn't make a difference for me

Ditto pp.   My cousin actually used it and she looks super pale in all her pictures and she is naturally tan.

Wow, this has got me a little worried as my MUA uses Pro Minerals - I haven't had a trial yet but I really hope this isn't true : (

I think it depends for everyone. You never know until you try it. Don't be discouraged yet. Have your trial and then make up your mind.

Maybe it does depend on your skin, but I also look like a freaky ghost if I wear mineral makeup in pictures. Maybe it has to do with natural light vs. inside light? No offense to your photog, but men usually aren't experts with makeup, so just make sure you test it out after your trial.
