Shoes: Splurge or Save?

Hi ladies,
I bought my shoes pretty soon after I bought my dress (which was at the end of July) because I was excited and couldn't wait to buy my pink shoes.
I bought pink patent leather shoes (my dress is silk taffeta) and while they were only $45 and I love them, I don't think they necessarily match the dress.  Then cyber Monday happens and I impulse buy a pair of ivory shoes that match my dress and are beautiful. I paid $160 for them (original price was $275) and now I'm wondering if I made a mistake. I have two weeks to return them so I'm asking you guys which shoe you think I should stick with?

I'm a bit partial to the pink shoes... I will be wearing pink shoes, also.  They are both super cute!!  I'd say if you are truly torn, that maybe go with which ones are most comfortable.  ????

I love colored shoes (I'm wearing red!), and I think your dress works really well with those.  I say stick with the pink!  Plus, you might actually wear the pink ones again. When will you ever need to wear ivory shoes, besides your wedding?

I'm going to have to disagree, I don't think the patent really go wtih your dress.  The ivory ones would look much better imo.

Although I love the pink shoes and I think they go with your dress, the white shoes are gorgeous. Could you have them dyed pink? Also, which pair is more comfortable.

I agree with many on here.  I say unless the ivory shoes (which are beautiful) are soooo much more comfortable than the pink ones, go with the pink ones.  You'll definitely get more use out of them AND you got a great deal on them!

I like the ivory shoes better, I think that the style of the dress goes better with the ivory ones.  With that being said, I don't know why you couldn't dye the ivory ones pink if you have your heart set on wearing pink shoes.  Good luck with your decision though!

Ivory.   I agree that you can use pink ones after the wedding, but ivory are much more classic and they do look more expansive...

I don't think patent leather goes with your dress.  My vote is to return the ivory pair and keep looking.  You can definitely wear colored shoes, I just don't think what you have right now is the quite right.  Your wedding is in July, so you have plenty of time to find shoes.  Good luck!

I love colored shoes too (and plan to wear some of my own), but I just don't think the style of the pink shoes goes with your dress. I think the ivory shoes are really pretty, so that's my pick.

Or, keep searching for cute pink shoes that go with your dress until the end of your two week return limit?
